Physician & Expert Speaker Guidelines
Share Your Expertise. Educate. Inspire Hope.
Hidden Heroes Society invites physicians, researchers, and healthcare experts to give a 20–25-minute educational presentation on a disease or medical condition, followed by a 5–10-minute moderated Q&A.
The presentation should help a general audience understand (suggested topics):
Disease Overview
- What is the condition?
- Who does it affect?
- What is known about its causes or biology?
Symptoms and Diagnosis
- Common signs and symptoms
- How the condition is diagnosed
- Frequent diagnostic challenges or delays
Treatment and Support
- Current treatment and management options
- Ways to preserve quality of life
- The role of caregivers, specialists, and support services
Research and Hope
- Recent advances
- Promising therapies, technologies, or clinical trials
- Two or three key takeaways for the audience
Slides, illustrations, and brief case examples are welcome.
You may also ask a willing patient to participate and share their story about their disease journey as part of the presentation.
