HHS Care
HHS Care connects student volunteers with specific, practical needs identified by hospitals, treatment centers, patient organizations, senior communities, caregiver organizations, and other trusted community partners.
Instead of guessing what people need, we ask our partners directly. Then we organize one focused donation drive around that need.
Current HHS Care Drive
Our next HHS Care collection is coming soon.
We are working with community partners to identify one specific need where HHS members can make a meaningful difference.
How HHS Care Works
A hospital or community organization tells HHS what specific item would be genuinely useful to the people they serve.
HHS reviews the request for appropriateness, feasibility, safety, and suitability for a student-led donation drive.
Students promote the drive, collect items, sort and count donations, organize delivery, and document impact.
Collected items are delivered to the partner organization for distribution to the people they serve.
Why One Need at a Time?
HHS Care is designed to be practical and responsive. Rather than collecting random items or creating generic care packages, each drive begins with a real request from a partner organization.
That allows HHS students to focus their energy on one clearly identified need and know that what they collect will actually be useful.
Donation Requirements
All HHS Care donations must be new and unused.
Items must also be unopened and in original packaging when applicable.
Do not donate:
- Used items
- Opened items
- Damaged items
- Expired items
- Previously owned personal-care items
- Items outside the partner’s requirements
Individual partner organizations may have additional restrictions or specifications. Please review the requirements for each active drive before donating.
Does Your Organization Have a Specific Need?
If your hospital, treatment center, independent senior living community, patient organization, caregiver organization, or community nonprofit has a clearly defined need that may be appropriate for a student-led donation drive, tell us what would be most helpful.
